In a completely different type of project, FutureMedia won several awards for Think Breakfast! "What's On Your Breakfast Plate?" an educational game developed for Imagine That Marketing and Communications and the New York State Education Department. The piece won the Summit International Marketing Effectiveness Award; two silver Davey Awards in the categories CD-ROM, Children’s Audience and CD-ROM, Graphics; and one silver Creativity Annual Award, in the category CD/DVD Design.
Think Breakfast! uses a fun, animated food gathering game, set on a fictional New York farm, to teach children about where food comes from and the importance of eating a balanced breakfast. Children answer trivia questions about food and nutrition, and must milk cows, pick fruit, and gather hay to make bread, yogurt, and other healthy breakfast foods.

The home page of the HD DVD Microsite features a flexible promotion space, which is updated as needed to reflect various marketing initiatives. For example, the latest animation supports a joint effort between Toshiba and CBS Home Entertainment. This campaign promotes HD DVD players and the HD DVD release of the 50th anniversary commemorative box set Star Trek: The Original Series – Remastered. Customers who purchase season one are eligible to receive a free, limited edition phaser-shaped remote control – and they can interact with an animated version of the remote right on the HD DVD home page.

The Creativity Awards are one of the longest running international advertising and graphic design competitions. This year, winners were selected from over 3,000 entries from 45 states and 29 countries.
The Davey Awards are presented by the International Association of Visual Arts, who say that “the Davey Awards exclusively honor the “Davids” of creativity, the finest small firms, agencies and companies in the world. David defeated the giant Goliath with a big idea and a little rock - the sort of thing small firms do each year.” Over 4000 entries were received in this year’s international competition.
For fourteen years, the Summit Awards have been working to further excellence in the communications industry. Their latest programs include entries from over 50 countries and five continents.
